01

The role

Swarm is a global AI consultancy. We are looking for a Graphic Design Intern who cares about excellent visual work and thinks about the audience, message, and action behind it.

Your anchor project is the Philippine AI Report 2026. You will help turn its content into clear layouts and compelling visuals, with the opportunity to contribute to its cover design. The work then extends into the marketing assets that bring the report to its readers.

You will collaborate with our marketing and design team, share ideas early, and improve the work through feedback. You do not need professional experience or coding skills to apply. Student projects, personal work, and a thoughtful portfolio can show us what you can do.

Who we’re looking for

  • Strong foundations in graphic design: composition, typography, hierarchy, layout, and attention to detail.
  • Marketing curiosity. You ask who the work is for, what it needs to say, and why a visual choice helps.
  • Interest in technology and a willingness to experiment hands-on with AI, while bringing your own judgment and craft.
  • A collaborative approach to feedback: you show work in progress, respond promptly, and use critique to make the next version better.
  • Confidence using a graphic design toolset and a willingness to learn what a project needs.

Information Design, Multimedia Arts, Visual Communication, and related programs are relevant backgrounds. Your work and thinking matter more than a particular school or course.

04

Useful extras

Illustration, video, animation, and brand-focused creative coding are welcome strengths. Familiarity with Midjourney, especially working with style references, is a big plus. These are opportunities to contribute, not a checklist you must already have mastered.

05

Show us your work

A portfolio is required

Send a portfolio link we can open, the tools you use, and a short explanation of why you want to join Swarm. Include student, personal, or client work that shows your eye and your decisions.

  • Explain the audience, goal, your contribution, and a design decision for one project.
  • Clearly identify which pieces are AI-generated or AI-assisted, what AI contributed, and which pieces were made without generative AI.
  • If you have not used generative AI in your portfolio, say so. Prior AI experience is not required; openness to learning is.
  • Share only work you are permitted to share, and credit collaborators.
06

Role setup

This internship is 15 hours a week, roughly three hours a day. You must be able to work in the Philippine timezone and join the team in Makati on Wednesdays.

That time together is for making, discussing, and improving the work. Expect to share unfinished ideas, explain your choices, and learn through direct feedback.
